Brit indie rockers, Hard-Fi, hit hard once again with their new single, Fire In The House.  From the way I opened with the "hit hard once again" line, you'd think that I knew a little more about their catalog.  Truth be told, however, the band and its brand are fresh on my radar , and while unearthing their single, I found a gem of a remix.

If you've made it to this page, then I suppose you love the remix too...allow me to introduce myself.

My name is SMLRMDJ (pronounced SMalL RooM DJ) -- DJ, producer, radio host, and now self-proclaimed top remix critic.  My claim to fame is the show I host, Black Light on 90.1 FM WUSB, with DJ Lil- Hungry.  This blog exist for 5 reasons:

1. Because, I LOVE THE REMIX, and there are a million of you out there that do too.  This web spot is for you.  
2. To review new releases and the many remixes that come with them.
3. To comment on trends in music.  I'm dedicated to the dance genre, but open to most others.
4. To profile, praise, and critique anyone or thing that's fair game (music related, of course.)
5. To hear the opinions of the masses and make sure I'm not living in a bubble.  When you're a DJ, it helps to be in touch with reality.
